Those in power outlaw drugs to keep production high, and the working man productive. Keeping the powerful in power requires a lack of freedom to express one's self in order to obtain a goal or desire.

Third Eye

The third eye is a symbol for the flow of creativity. The third eye is closed on most people because the mind is so overly active. If the mind cannot silence easily, then the eye cannot open easily. The eye is open when the mind is closed. Remember that the mind is an organ just like the heart or liver.
I say "closed" as in "silence" because the mind cannot know of silence.
A quick understanding of how to open your third eye would be to listen to your breath as you breath. This will both take focus and attention away from the mind and you will experience a quick window into silence without the mind. (Until you realize your breathing and the silence is taken over again with thought)
The possibility is there, but most are so lost in the mind they basically can't escape, or they don't want to escape, which is closer.
This is the best representation of my quick explanation for the third eye. Others might say differently, Im sure there are many other examples, but like all religions, the underlining message is always the same. It's also the underlining message that is little known by the mass human conscience. The mass human conscience wants to examine the details, overlooking the repeated messages.
